Abstract:
Natural soil has a complex composition because of its heterogeneity. To find the chemical composition of any substance by chemical methods, there are various methods using Analytical chemistry. The same analysis can be done to estimate the chemical composition of brick soil beforehand the brick being made. The deficient amounts can be compensated by adding some additives and the excess can be removed by some other procedures. This results in the enhancement of the quality of brick and also its properties like strength, water absorption, durability, efflorescence. The present study involves chemical analyses of earth material for brick making collected from different areas and recommendations are given in view of results obtained.
