Abstract:
Introduce exploratory work describes the utilization of foundry sand which is used as a waste material, which is easily available. It is a by-product which is manufactured in metal casting industries at the time of casting. It has been castoff in part Substitution of fine aggregate. In this project, fine aggregate has been replaced by foundry sand accordingly in the range of (10%, 30%, 40% and 50%). And we have tested for Compressive Strength. It was observed that the compressive Strength increases while there is an increase in the percentage of foundry sand up to 30% and then it decreased from 40% to 50%. If unwanted material like foundry sand is used as construction material, it can help to reduce the amount of discarding material
