Abstract:
Digital Marketing is the communication between the company and the target audience which helps in communication among clients and service providers at distant places very easily and effectively. It has undergone several evolution processes to get into present day’s position and being acceptable by the majority. This paper introduces the different stages in the evolution of Digital Marketing. Social Media is one in such evolution stages about which we are going to discuss in this paper. An extensive literature review of papers and articles on Role of Social Media in Digital Marketing is done to develop an understanding of the Social Media usage. This paper also familiarizes the different types of Social Media in Digital Marketing. How Social Media is being preferred and being successful in the field of Digital Marketing has discussed in this paper.
