Conceptual Theory and Sieve Analysis of Regular Plaster Sand
Olabimtan Olabode H, Abubakar Zaid, Ahmed Yero B

Abstract:
An extensive collection of construction work in structural construction requires construction materials such as plaster sand are required as the performance and quality of the final product is anchored to the particle size and shape of the raw materials and thus involves quality control by particle characterization. This article described and modelled a standard plaster sand with a grain size distribution theory [y= 18.673 ln (x) + 47.981 (R2=0.9713)]. The extrapolated results announce the coefficient of uniformity [Cu=14.5528] and curvature [Cc=27.5530] as indices of poor gradation with the plaster sand category adopted.
