Abstract:
The main objective of this project is the immediate prevention of an automobile theft and it's remote tracking by using GPS (Global Positioning System), GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) and Arduino. The proposed system helps to prevent the theft at the instant of theft. When the vehicle is in theft mode, the immediate three actions will take place i.e., The supply is tripped off for the starter motor simultaneously the doors will get locked. So that the thief can't be escaped. Later the instant location of the vehicle will be sent to the registered mobile number through GSM. We can remotely unlock the vehicle by using our cellular mobile phone, after we got the acknowledgement information about the theft. This system can be directly implemented in the automobiles in order to provide an efficient theft prevention mechanism. This is reliable, low cost and helps to lock the thief inside the car.
