Abstract:
In 1928, the brutal Italian fascist came across the sea as an invading army to invade our country, while St. Abune Petros was supporting the people with their prayers and strengthening their education in order to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them by the church. The Holy Church was directly attacked by invaders, and its scholars, monasteries, churches, and shrines were massacred and burned by invading Italian forces. Happily, they saw this atrocity on the Holy Church, which they had nurtured, and decided to join the Ethiopian patriotic forces in prayer.
