Abstract:
Scientific research is very important for the development of societies. Way of living can be improved by researchers'achievements. Scientists write and publish research articles for various reasons, such as testing hypotheses, sharing new knowledge, solving problems, and keeping themselves updated with the latest developments in the field. Writing and publishing a research paper in a peer-reviewed journal may seem a simple task at first while, in fact, it is a complicated and time-consuming process. This article provides useful information for academic authors, postgraduate students and researchers, who intend to write and publish their research papers in peer-reviewed journals, which could be a requirement for promotion or graduation. It is written in simple English which makes it easier to understand, especially, by non native-English speakers and will surely increase the manuscript's probability of being accepted for publication.
