Abstract:
Soft tissue radiation-induced sarcomas (SETI) are rare clinical entities. Their incidence is increasing because the survival of patients treated with radiotherapy increases. In these cured patients, they constitute a real therapeutic challenge. SETI generally develops after a median latency period of 10 years and encompasses different histological types. The first-line treatment for these lesions is surgery with healthy histological margins, hence the frequency of aggressive resections. We report the case of a patient treated in training for an inflammatory left breast having benefited from neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by patey and radiotherapy who consults five years later for a local recurrence related to a post-radiation sarcoma having underwent a parietectomy with recovery by a dorsal flap with good evolution.
