Abstract:
Learning in schools tends to give appreciation to students who can understand theoretical concepts. This has implications for the disparity between the curriculum in a document and the curriculum in action. Students have difficulty connecting the concepts learned and their application in the real world. This research departs from the assumptions of where Civics learning seeks to facilitate students to apply the concepts learned in real life as citizens who have the knowledge, attitude, and skills in the democratic republic.
