Abstract:
: Hamartoma of the breast is a rare benign, well-limited, pseudotumor lesion composed of a variable amount of glandular, adipose and fibrous tissue. It is a rare lesion, but probably under-diagnosed. It is a rare but probably under-diagnosed lesion that affects women of all ages from puberty onwards. With the increasing use of imaging tools such as mammography and ultrasound as well as breast biopsy, the number of diagnosed cases of hamartoma is increasing. The diagnosis of these lesions is generally made on mammography. The histological and radiological aspects are variable and depend on its fat content. The identification of these lesions is important in order to avoid exeresis Surgical removal. We report radio-clinical and anatomopathological cases of breast hamartoma, with a review of the literature.
