Abstract:
Titanium dioxide (TiO2), Nano crystalline was synthesized by TiCl4 solution was slowly added, it is distilled water in an ice bath. The Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrometer min 1240 to carry out the optical properties , the maximal optical absorbance value at240 nm corresponding photon energy 5.17 eV ,while absorption coefficient value equal 1.52x104 cm-1 at the same wavelength, maximum value of (n) is (2.19) ,optical energy band gap equal (3.773) eV and high magnitude of optical conductivity (1.17x1011 sec-1) confirms the presence of very high photo-response .The infrared spectra of Titanium dioxide (TiO2) was used to locate the band positions, H-O-H bending vibration of free or absorbed water which implies that the hydroxyl groups are retained in sample at 3440 cm-1.
