Abstract:
Polypoid rhinosinuitis is one of the widespread chronic diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Bacterial and fungal infections are considered as potential pathogenetic factors of this disease; anatomical abnormalities of the nasal cavity and ostiomeatal complex; ciliary dysfunction; atopy, defects of systemic and local immunity.
