Abstract:
Apprenticeship is a viable but an under used solution for the problem of training affecting the industrial community, employment and consequently national development. This paper shows through a review of literature, the need for apprenticeship training and its economic empowerment on youths both illiterates and graduates of various forms of formal education in Nigeria with a view of improving and creating avenues for it to meet the challenges of the future.
