Abstract:
Recent developments in the cryptocurrency market have raised a debate about whether cryptocurrencies as a vehicle for economic growth have benefits that outweigh the dangers of open crypto trading. Economies across the world have undergone a transformative shift during the Covid19 pandemic, and India is no exception to this. Indians now have employment opportunities that leap beyond borders, all from the comfort of our own homes. Against this backdrop, this paper explores the role cryptocurrencies play in enabling cross-border transactions and how a healthy crypto market affects economic growth across nations.
