Abstract:
The study dealt with dubbed Turkish series and their impact on the behaviour of Sudanese youth. The researcher used the descriptive survey method along with data collection tools (i.e. observation and questionnaire), using the Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS). The aim of the rsearch was to identify the reasons that led to the spread of dubbed Turkish Series in such a large quantity and to identify the extent of the impact of Turkish on the behaviour of Sudanese youth. The researcher reached several results, the most important of which were: The dubbed Turkish series were able to influence the Sudanese youth in many aspects, as the most effects of influence were in the behavioural and intellectual sides, which were considered the most important aspects, as the influence on the intellectual side led to a deep conviction of what the seies contain of values, customs and behaviours that were not in line with the Islamic Religion and Sudanese society, and when the thought was affected, it meant an impact and change in all other aspects. The Sudanese street has many forms of custumes that were similar to what the actors wear in these series, especially females. Also, strange terms and vocabulary have appeared in Sudanese society and are now being circulated by Sudanese youth and Sudanese society in general. The researcher reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: A national media strategy should be planned that endorses the Sudanese and Islamic identity, and protects our society from cultural penetration, presenting alternatives to the dubbed Turkish series coming to us, by making our satellite chanells produce dramatic forms that preserves our values, customs and traditions.
