Abstract:
The study of development issues is considered among the important issues which require attention, care and research into how countries and governments can max use of finding solutions to the problem they suffer (from) and plan an appropriate framework for the development of the societies then use modern techniques for the evaluation of the development projects which are considered means of application of the economic strategies which are in harmony with the economic conditions and their available resources . Development is considered the end of all governments and societies. To achieve that the provision of the infrastructure is a must as the infrastructure represents the basic foundation on which development is built. The researcher has used the inductive methodology for the purpose of notifying to extent the development can play basic role to stable peace on the basis of infrastructure. This paper deals with the topic of economic development and its great role in developing infrastructure projects under the achievement of peace in the Sudan. As the country's efforts are increasing towards achieving peace and stability in order to build big infrastructure projects which ensure that there is a leadership for the serious development operations. This paper includes four sections. The first section deals with the concept of economic development. The second section treats peace in Sudan. Section three deals with the effort exerted to achieve peace. Section four handles establish infrastructure projects in the Sudan and its concept and importance. The paper has reached a number of findings. Among the important ones is the continuation of meeting the requirement of stopping the war achieving peace, detente and move from aid stage to the stage of reconstruction and development. The recommendations of the paper include the continuation of political understanding in order to achieve political satisfaction and achieve agreement on the administration of the country so that it can be reflected on the development projects.
