Abstract:
Abstract: The importance of this study lies in identifying the role played by radio in promoting the cognitive, cultural and social awareness of the family in understanding family problems in addressing the phenomenon of divorce. The problem of the study was the spread of the phenomenon divorce in Sudanese society in general and the society of sinnar state in particular. This study attempts to find out the role played by sinnar state Radio to reduce the spread of the phenomenon of divorce in sinnar state. the study aimed to show the importance of the role of radio by raising awareness of the seriousness of the phenomenon of divorce and knowing its causes, and to k now what is stated in the holy Quran and the prophets Sunnah of reasons that lead to divorce is in fidelity and then education, and living inside the home of the husband family is one of the reasons for divorce .the study recommended the following :the need to increase the amount of programs that address tye phenomenon of a divorce, and the need to pay attention to what is stated in the holy Quran and the prophets Sunnah when choosing a life partner to ensure the stability of married life.
