Abstract:
Cornual pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy where the egg implants in the uterine horn. It poses a diagnostic problem, due to its intrauterine location but not in the uterine cavity where the normal pregnancy is implanted it is necessary to differentiate between three types of ectopic pregnancies rare location which are the interstitial, the angular and the cornual pregnancy. We report a case of an unruptured left interstitial pregnancy. The endovaginal ultrasound showed an extra uterine gestational sac at the interstitial level, no effusion, the uterus was empty, given the diagnostic difficulty, a pelvic MRI was performed urgently, objectifying an interstitial pregnancy, then the patient benefited from a mini laparotomy (lack of laparoscopy in the emergency room), with a left salpingectomy encompassing the left horn, the outcome was favorable, medical treatment consisting of an injection of methotrexate was administered the following day
