Abstract:
Breast tuberculosis is a rare condition, even in endemic countries, it represents approximately 0.06% to 0.1% of all tuberculous localizations and 0.025% to 4.5% of all breast pathology. (1) Its diagnosis is difficult given the multiplicity and non-specificity of its clinical and radiological aspects, which are often misleading and pose a real diagnostic problem with breast cancers Mammary tuberculosis must be mentioned above all in endemic countries or in the immunocompromised subject We report a case of granulomatous mastitis confirmed on a breast biopsy, initially treated with corticosteroid therapy and antibiotic therapy, given the non-improvement under treatment a second breast biopsy which objectified breast tuberculosis
