Abstract:
The article presents a psychological interpretation of educating young people in the spirit of military patriotism. In particular, there is another aspect of the psychological description of consciousness, including defensive consciousness, the individual-psychological distinction between subject-object, the components of the concepts of "I" and "I am not" and their relationship, "Dangerous for me and dangerous for them" and "Not dangerous for me and not dangerous for them". In the process of military-patriotic education of young people through the study of threatening and defensive behavior, it is necessary to pay attention to the following: the role of characteristics, the role of communication in ensuring their maturity, the role of science, the factor of the situation, the role of needs and motivations have been theoretically studied.
