Abstract:
Keratitis is a common pathology in daily ophthalmology, whose etiologies are dominated by bacterial origin. Mycotic origin represents a rare cause, but is increasingly encountered in recent years, due to the untimely use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, corticotherapy, and the emergence of contactology. We report here the case of a patient with a fungal corneal abscess due to a germ rarely isolated in our facilities: Aspergillus flavus.
