Abstract:
The article provides a theoretical analysis of approaches to the experience of foreign countries in improving the fiscal mechanism aimed at stimulating regional economic growth in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In particular, models of basic fiscal policy in international practice and modifications of the distribution of tax revenues in accordance with the expenditures of the budgets of each level are evaluated. At the same time, the features of the budget and tax mechanisms in foreign countries are compared and analyzed using the example of the USA, EU countries, Japan, Great Britain, France, Ireland, and Germany. The author proposes to take into account the level of socio-economic development of the regions when determining budgetary and tax parameters in Uzbekistan, and it is also advisable to provide targeted tax benefits based on the local conditions of the country's regions.
