Abstract: This study dealt with the names of some males and females of animals, in view of the importance of the animal, the significance and methods of its feminization, and the distinction between its masculine and feminine. The study aimed to identify the female names of them due to their lack of knowledge due to the absence of their use; In order to preserve an important part of the Arabic language words that are almost extinct. The importance of the study comes through the documentation of the names of some male and female animals, and a continuation of what some researchers started. The study followed the descriptive semantic approach, through which it reached conclusions, including: One of the animal names is what leads the male to the female, such as the husband falls on the man and the woman, and every plural except for the plural of the sons of Adam is feminine; I saw one female or masculine towards birds and beasts. The study recommended continuing and completing the study of the names of the remaining female animals. Making studies of the fluent Arabic words that were rarely used and revived, and not neglecting a letter from Arabic to preserve Arabic and its words from being lost.
