Dr. Emad Awad Alzain Ali

Abstract:
The importance of the study dealt with the study of grammatical phenomena, as it worked to collect grammatical intents through chapters and parts. The study aimed to clarify the concept of terms: (feature, phenomenon, ibdal and ewadh), and to explain the study of the phenomenon through the sections of grammar and its parts, then the grammatical application of (replacement and substitution) through the concept of the phenomenon. The problem of the study lied in the following questions: What was meant by the features of the phenomenon of substitution in Arabic grammar? What was the difference between ewadh and badal? Were ewad and inaba exist in Arabic grammar? Which was more ewadh or inaba in the sections of grammar? The study followed the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the study and its descriptions. After presenting its material, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which were: The features of the phenomenon of substitution in Arabic grammar were general features that include more than one grammatical origin, and the phenomenon of substitution in Arabic grammar does not belong to one of the chapters of grammar; rather, they were general controls that included the various sections and parts. The badal is located in the place of the mubaddal, and the ewadh was not necessary, and the ewadh was in the letters, movements and parts of speech, and the ewadh was in the chapters and vocabulary, and the ewadh was more than the inaba in the parts and chapters. The study recommended the study of grammatical phenomena because it works to collect the chapters and particles in a single phenomenon. Through the study of phenomena, grammar can be divided into phenomena instead of sections and parts.
