Abstract:
We report the case of a mesenchymal dysplasia of the placenta suspected in antenatal by ultrasound on a pregnancy of 18 weeks of amenorrhea in a primiparous 18-year-old patient, whose evolution is marked by a late abortion with histological examination of the placenta: a mesenchymal dysplasia of the placenta. Placental mesenchymal dysplasia is a rare disease whose diagnosis is not always evoked in antenatal care. The diagnosis is evoked in front of antenatal ultrasound anomalies: placentomegaly with a normal fetus, the main differential diagnosis is partial mole and the diagnosis of certainty is made on histology.
