Abstract:
Pemphigoid of pregnancy is a rare autoimmune bullous dermatitis affecting pregnant, primiparous or multiparous women. Usually beginning in the 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy. It is linked to antibodies directed against the dermal basement membrane protein BP180. Epidermal. PG is manifested by a more or less extensive pruritic erythematous-papular eruption. The evolution is towards progressive healing after childbirth, sometimes after a postpartum push. Recurrence in subsequent pregnancies is common. We report a case of Pregnancy pemphigoid in a 32-year-old patient diagnosed in the 3rd trimester. Through this case and a review of the literature, we take stock of the clinical, histopathological, therapeutic and prognostic aspects of this rare entity that is specific to pregnancy.
