Abstract:
The study aimed to know tourism in Sudan and the extent of its contribution to achieving economic development and to know the challenges and obstacles facing that sector and its future vision. Statistical significance between the components of tourism in Sudan and making it a global tourist destination. The study relied on the descriptive, historical and analytical approach. Among the most important findings of the study: The quality of tourism services worked to attract tourists with a relative importance of 82%, and tourism establishments worked to provide job opportunities for citizens with a relative importance of 81%. The attractive tourist sites helped to encourage investment by 90%. The study also recommended several recommendations, the most prominent of which is that the state should carry out more tourism investment because it works to increase the national income of the state, create more tourist sites and work on developing them to encourage investment
