Abstract:
Autologous skin grafting is a gold standard for skin coverage. The availability of thin skin grafts can be a real major challenge especially in case of lack of material; the procedure describes a simple alternative of thin skin sampling, less expensive, reproducible and adaptable in several circumstances, using a razor blade; thus taking up the technical challenge of controlling the thickness and extent of the graft to be removed, in order to guarantee optimal graft take and healing of the donor site without any complications and for an aesthetic result.
