Abstract:
Rupture of the distal tendon of the biceps brachii muscle is a rare entity. It accounts for only 3% of biceps ruptures. Diagnosis may be delayed or overlooked because of its rarity. The origin is essentially traumatic. Surgical treatment remains the best option and improves the functional prognosis of the limb. Different techniques are proposed according to the habits of the surgeon. We present a case in a young subject, 36 years old, weightlifter, having benefited from an anatomical insertion, by a unique approach of Henry, with a Mini-Révo? anchor. The evolution 18 months later is excellent with no complaints from the patient with a gradual resumption of physical activities.
