Abstract:
In software development, the testing process has the most significant parameter. According to the type of data held by geographic information systems (GIS) and the way in which data is analyzed, processed and displayed, the test of geographic information systems differs from testing other forms of information systems. We reviewed previous literature related to the testing of GIS in general and crowdsourced, automated, outsourcing testing in GIS systems. There is no much literature on GIS testing is available because there are standardized methods, devices, and protocols that have been used and applied in this field.
