The objectives of the study were to examine the effect of affective commitment on organizational performance in private universities in Wakiso district, and to assess the effect of normative commitment on organization performance in private universities in Wakiso district. The findings of the study revealed that respondents believe in what their organizations do and so they work hard to help the organizations achieve their goals and that employees depend on their organizations for survival.
