Abstract:
: Eleven (11) varieties of cowpea from the National Institute for Agronomic Studies and Research (INERA) Gandajika were used in this experiment. We have indeed selected 10 improved varieties (SA7-0-L, Sb7B-M, Sd1-0, SC5-2, Sc5-1-1-R, Sc5-2-0-I, SA8-2, Sb6-11 , Sc6-1-1, Sc2-1) in order to modulate and promote intra-specific plant diversity on yield and various bio-aggressors of cowpea under the agro-ecological conditions of Kananga and one (1) Diamant variety in Endangered. The land that was chosen for our experimentation is that of the University site which is located in the city of Kananga, Commune which bears the same name, Kamayi-Athénée district within the walls of the University campus of Home of ISP students / Kananga. In this region, cowpea is well integrated but its production is confronted with the problem of production, predators and diseases.
