Abstract:
The frequency of Buschke Lowenstein's tumor is not well known; about 200 cases have been reported in the literature, they have been observed in the vulva, scrotum and perianal region. Giant condyloma (GC) has a very aggressive local evolutionary potential and is currently considered to be a verrucous carcinoma. Malignant transformation into invasive squamous cell carcinoma has been observed in a few cases. Its viral origin is currently demonstrated, and HPV6 and 11 are found here. The BL tumor occurs at any age after puberty and has been described from 18 to over 80 years of age. We will present a clinical case of a pregnant woman of 25 weeks with a giant condyloma acuminata at the vulvar level and discuss it according to the literature. Management during pregnancy is more complex as it must take into account the mother and her fetus. The route of delivery is still discussed because of the potential risk of vertical transmission. HPV vaccination, sex education and early treatment of condylomatous lesions should help to avoid and in any case improve the prognosis of this condition.
