Abstract:
It has never been more important to invest in building a set of essential skills in our children and young ones - the ability to creatively solve problems, to manage themselves, to communicate effectively, or to work well with others than now when economy is in distress and comatose .The demand for these skills from employers of labour is well documented. It is against this background that this paper proposes reforming education for the 21st century world of work before our children can be exposed to those skills needed to possess before they can compete with their counterparts around the world.
