Abstract:
There are several digital development challenges that hospitals face today. Here are some of the most significant: Integration of Electronic Health Records (EHRs). One of the biggest challenges facing hospitals is the integration of electronic health records (EHRs). EHRs are digital records of a patient's medical history and treatment that are shared among healthcare providers. However, integrating EHRs from different systems can be complex and time-consuming. Cybersecurity. As hospitals become more digitized, the risk of cyber-attacks increases. Hospitals need to implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect patient data from unauthorized access or theft. Interoperability. Interoperability refers to the ability of different healthcare systems to communicate and exchange data with each other. Hospitals must ensure that their digital systems can communicate with other healthcare providers, patients, and payers.
