Abstract:
: The treatment of unstable metacarpal fractures remains a subject of controversy. Few series have been reported in the literature, making their analysis difficult. We report a retrospective study of 65 patients operated on who had displaced metacarpal fractures. The overall results have been good. The stability of the assembly by mini plates of the unstable fractures of the metacarpals and the phalanges allowed an early mobilization of the joints of the hand, with unfortunately more complications
