The effect of human resources management on the performance of Nigerian oil and gas companies is examined in this study. Statistics on profit margin, training and development costs, and employee recruiting and selection costs were taken from the annual reports of ten Nigerian oil and gas businesses that are publicly traded throughout a ten-year period, from 2012 to 2021. Because their t-statistics were calculated to be greater than the critical value of 5%, the results of the OLS panel model regression indicated that training costs, development costs, and employee recruitment and selection have no discernible effect on the financial performance of Nigerian oil and gas companies.
