Abstract:
In these difficult times, businesses are constantly looking for strategies to improve their fate. Employees, who are the most important resource at work, must be appropriately motivated in order to improve their performance and, as a result, the success of the company. In light of the equality of human dependency, this study investigated the impact of pay and incentives during difficult times. It has been noted that incentives and rewards are important tools for assuring successful work results as well as for enhancing organizational performance. Thus, it was determined that amid difficult times, developing incentive and remuneration packages that are highly motivating will aid in boosting the organization's success at work. The study suggested, among other things, that organizations make sure that salaries are paid on time in order to decrease unproductive behaviour and increase productive behaviour.
