Abstract:
The recurrence of putsches in West Africa has its origin in the multisectoral and multidimensional crises of the States in prey. The rise of terrorist movements and other internal crises linked to anti-democratic constitutional changes lead to military putsches which, in turn, result in constitutional putsches. So that the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is responsible, at the sub-regional level, for the implementation of the policy of the African Union (AU) in terms of integration regional in Africa, it seems to be in conflict with the respective communities of its Member States. She is accused of being in defense of the apology of heads of state to the detriment of that of the respective peoples. This is why, it meets in its bosom, the disapproval on the part of the said peoples of which it is moreover supposed to govern.
