Abstract:
:Bronchopulmonary cancer remains a major public health problem despite the various anti-smoking campaigns. Over the past ten years, its diagnostic and therapeutic management has evolved with the appearance of new techniques of imaging, bronchial endoscopy and molecular biology to better characterize tumors. Surgery is the treatment offering the best survival for patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is used at every stage of therapeutic management. The contraindications are non-resectability linked to the stage of the tumour, and non-operability linked to the patient's physiological state. Patient management procedures are discussed by a multidisciplinary team, taking into account age, comorbidities, TNM stage, histological type and molecular characteristics.
