Abstract:
Abdominal pregnancy is characterized by the implantation and development of the fertilized egg in the peritoneal cavity. It represents an uncommon form of ectopic pregnancy, often diagnosed incidentally, and can mimic a surgical emergency. We report a rare case of abdominal ectopic pregnancy discovered during an etiological assessment of abdominal pain associated with fluid accumulation.
