Mandalika City has become a Special Economic Zone (KEK) and was inaugurated in 2017. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of sports tourism through the construction of the Mandalika Circuit on the economy of Lombok Island, economic opportunities and economic challenges. This type of research is descriptive research which describes the conditions of research objects and subjects as they exist using a qualitative approach. Topic information is obtained from secondary source research and analysis of local economic data. The research results show that the construction of the Mandalika Circuit has a positive impact on the local economy.
