Abstract:
The interaction between technology and language has given rise to novel avenues for communication where electronic flies emerged as a peculiar yet intriguing manifestation. This paper aims to investigate the intriguing interplay between technology and language through the exploration of the phenomenon of electronic flies and their potential implications and role in linguistic deception as these flies which are miniature electronic devices have become a focal point in the realm of communication technology because without any doubt the linguistic deception which is the deliberate manipulation of language for deceptive purposes has been a longstanding aspect of human communication. The nexus between electronic flies and linguistic deception is analyzed in the paper which also aimed to address the ethical considerations and potential societal impacts. By critically assessing the ethical implications and proposing responsible frameworks, this research hopes to contribute to a deeper understanding of the evolving dynamics in the digital communication landscape.
