Abstract:
Academic performance is a critical aspect of a student's life, as it determines their future career prospects and opportunities. However, the increasing availability of the internet has led to concerns about its impact on academic performance. While the internet offers numerous benefits for academic purposes, excessive internet usage has been linked to decreased academic achievement, social isolation, and decreased attention span. Despite the importance of academic performance, many students struggle to balance their internet usage with dedicated study time. The proliferation of digital distractions, including social media and online entertainment, has made it challenging for students to focus on their studies. This study aims at modeling of hours spent on the internet, time spent studying, and academic performance among students.
