This study is explored the role of peer pressure on sexual behaviour of tertiary institution students in Edo State. three research questions and hypotheses were formulated and tested. The design employed for this study is correlational research design. The population of this study comprises 56,231 in seven public tertiary institutions in Edo State The sample of this study consists of 384 students drawn from the entire population using Multi-stage sampling procedures. The instrument for this study was questionnaire titled "peer pressure and sexual behavior questionnaire" (PPSQ). The face and content validity of the instrument was established by three experts in Guidance and Counselling Department. The instrument was determined by administering the instrument to 50 tertiary institution students. The data obtained was also used to compute the reliability of the instrument using Cronbach Alpha which yielded a general reliability coefficient values 0.78. These values indicated that the instrument is quite reliable for the study. To collect data for the study, the questionnaire was administered to tertiary institution students directly by the researcher and retrieved immediately at the end of the exercise. All the research questions were answered using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and coefficient of determination while hypotheses were tested using regression. Based on the analysis the following findings were obtained; there is a significant relationship between peer pressure and sexual behavior of tertiary institution students in Edo state; there is no significant moderating impact of gender on the relationship between peer pressure and sexual behaviour of tertiary institution students in Edo state; there is a significant moderating impact of academic level on the relationship between peer pressure and sexual behaviour of tertiary institution students in Edo state Based on the findings conclusion were drawn that peer influence and students' academic standing play crucial roles in shaping sexual behavior among tertiary institution students in Edo State. Based on the findings recommendations were made among others that institutions should implement peer education programs focused on safe and informed sexual behaviour.
