Abstract:
Over the years are dynamics in advancing learning psychology of distance learning, or remote or online learning, has gained prominence globally and in East Africa due to technological advancements and evolving learners' needs. Distance learning has gained popularity globally during this time and in East Africa due to technological advancements and evolving learners' needs. Higher educational institutions in Uganda have adopted distance learning to ensure continuity and public health during crises. However, the challenges include technological infrastructure, pedagogical approaches, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness. This article examines higher education institutions' implementation practices in Uganda during distance learning dynamics, focusing on public and private universities. It also examines the effects of socioeconomic considerations, infrastructural challenges, and cultural norms of the people in Uganda.
