Abstract:
This study addresses the dual challenges Coca-Cola faces in the era of digitization and evolving consumer preferences. The research highlights how digital transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has impacted Coca-Cola's workforce management, necessitating shifts in leadership style, employee training, and adaptation to remote work dynamics. Additionally, the integration of advanced technologies like AI in operations has underscored the need for ongoing upskilling and learning among employees to maintain productivity and engagement. Concurrently, Coca-Cola contends with the contemporary demand for low or zero-sugar beverages as health consciousness rises globally. This study emphasised the importance of lifelong learning and knowledge management in equipping Coca-Cola to address these dual pressures. In conclusion, lifelong learning ensures employees stay current with trends in nutrition and food science, while effective knowledge management fosters innovation and compliance with health regulations. Together, these strategic approaches enable Coca-Cola to adapt to digital and market transformations, supporting sustained competitiveness and alignment with consumer expectations. We recommend that Coca-Cola should prioritise the development of robust training initiatives aimed at equipping employees with essential digital skills including proficiency in remote work tools, digital communication platforms, and the use of AI and machine learning technologies.
