Abstract:
The transition from 4G to 5G mobile network technology is a new technological breakthrough that brings significant improvements in mobile network performance. The fifth generation offers speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s with reduced latency and the ability to connect more devices over long distances, thus meeting the growing needs of connected objects. It is revolutionizing uses, rewarding advances in the fields of industrial computing, autonomous vehicles, virtualization, connected health and telecommunications. Unsurprisingly, this transition presents some significant challenges such as high deployment costs, the inadequacy of rural and urban areas to the new technology and environmental impacts related to the use and maintenance of infrastructures. On the social level, although 5G shows globalization and economic prototypes, it raises questions of digital irregularities, data security.
