Abstract:
The research concentrated on the non-teaching personnel of Yllana Bay View College, Pagadian City, Philippines, with a total of 32 staff members participating as respondents. The collective average satisfaction score for staff regarding the work environment was 4.05, indicating a moderate level of contentment and a generally favorable view of the factors affecting their work atmosphere. In terms of staff performance, the average score was 3.56, suggesting that while performance surpasses expectations, there is still room for enhancement to achieve an exceptional level. Upon analyzing the data, it was found that there exists a non-significant and very weak positive correlation between the work environment and staff performance. This was supported by a Kendal Tau B correlation coefficient of 0.12 and a p-value of 0.922.
