Abstract:
: This study investigates the influence of leadership on the mental well-being and research productivity of senior high school teachers in private schools in Plaridel, Bulacan. Utilizing a descriptive-correlational research design, the study examines how leadership styles affect teacher morale, stress levels, and scholarly output. Data were collected from 50 senior high school teachers through a structured survey instrument, focusing on leadership dimensions, mental well-being indicators, and research productivity metrics. Results revealed a positive correlation between transformational leadership and enhanced mental well-being, as well as a significant impact of supportive leadership on increased research productivity. These findings underscore the importance of effective leadership in fostering a supportive work environment that promotes teacher wellbeing and professional growth, aligning with the goals of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.
